Loyola Papers is the peer-reviewed Student and Alumni Academic Journal of the Loyola School of Theology (LST). It is published twice a year, in October and March, by the Loyola School of Theology, with an address at the Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Philippines, Tel. No. (63 2) 8426-6430.

Originally published from 1971 to 1986, Loyola Papers was described in its front matter as “a series of occasional papers and informative studies on contemporary issues in Christian doctrine and life.” During its first run, it featured articles by faculty members, selected student contributions, and documentation of significant ecclesial events. Its revival in 2020 strengthens LST’s commitment to forming thoughtful theologians capable of engaging the Church and society in diverse cultural contexts.

Aside from articles in the field of systematic, biblical, moral, and pastoral theology, canon law, and church history, articles on religious education, pastoral psychology and counseling, spirituality and retreat-giving, integral ecology, migration, and philosophy may be submitted to Loyola Papers.
