Abstract

Using the FABC's Ninth Plenary Assembly document "Living the Eucharist in Asia" and its Eleventh Plenary Assembly document on the Catholic family as a domestic Church of the Poor, this article walks through the four major parts of the Mass, namely the Introductory Rites, Liturgy of the Word, Eucharistic Prayer, and Rite of Communion, drawing out pastoral applications for Asian Catholic families. For each part, the author offers reflection questions inviting families to examine how they embody communion, truthful speech, memory, dialogue with difference, forgiveness, gratitude, and mission, arguing that living the Eucharist authentically calls families beyond routine obligation toward becoming a missionary domestic Church of the Poor.
