Abstract

This philosophy synthesis paper takes the film Interstellar as a point of departure for asking whether humankind has access to eternity despite living in three-dimensional space and chronological time. Using the images of the line, point, sphere, and tesseract, it offers a philosophical roadmap to temporality, divine eternity, and participation, and argues that humanity’s participation in eternity involves a desire for the good and a movement toward fuller actualization.
