Loyola Papers Vol. 7 No. 2 (2026)

  • October 27, 2026
  • ISSN: 3155-7112

It is our joy to present another volume of Loyola Papers as part of LST’s continuing effort to cultivate and advance not just theological scholarship but pastoral sensitivity to the res novae of our time. It is our hope that you find these articles meaningful as well as delightful. We pray that they will somehow embody and further encourage our fulfillment of Pope Leo XIV’s vision for philosophy and theology as giving fresh impetus to the Church’s perennial proclamation of truth and applying the Church’s faith in a manner suited to the needs of our time. As he said in Magnifica Humanitas, “in this way, theological and philosophical inquiry will be able to further explore and support the Church’s pastoral journey, and contribute to the Magisterium’s task of enlightening the consciences of the faithful and guiding their efforts to make the life of our socie¬ties more just and fraternal” (47).
