Aloysius L. Cartagenas, S.Th.D.

Aloysius L. Cartagenas is a Filipino lay theologian. He completed his first cycle of theological studies at the Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University, and pursued doctoral studies in theology at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. His scholarly interests include ecclesiology, theological ethics, and the relationship between the Church and society. He has published on contemporary ecclesial and social issues and has been involved in theological education and lay formation in the Philippines, including service to the San Carlos Major Seminary and School of Theology in Cebu City, Philippines.
