Antonio F. Moreno, S.J.

Antonio F. Moreno, SJ is a Jesuit priest who served as President of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific (JCAP) and Provincial Superior of the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus (2013–2017). He was previously President of Ateneo de Zamboanga University from 2007 to 2013, during which he also served as Vice President of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) and Chair of the Jesuit Higher Education Commission (JHEC). A scholar of civil society and church governance, his books include Church, State, and Civil Society in Postauthoritarian Philippines (Ateneo de Manila University Press, 2006)—winner of the 2007 Catholic Mass Media Award for Best Book in Spirituality and Ministry—and Imperfect Leadership: A Jesuit Reflects on His Journey (Xavier University Press, 2026).
