Lloyd Baugh, S.J.

Lloyd Baugh, SJ is a Canadian Jesuit priest and scholar specializing in theology and film. He received his Doctorate in Theology and Film Studies from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he served as Full Professor of Film Studies and Theology. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at the Loyola School of Theology, teaching courses on theology and the visual arts. His research focuses on cinematic representations of Jesus, Christ-figures, and theological themes in cinema, and he is the author of Imaging the Divine: Jesus and Christ-Figures in Film (Sheed & Ward, 1997).
