Ruben C. Mendoza

Ruben C. Mendoza is a Filipino lay theologian and professor in the Department of Theology at Ateneo de Manila University. He obtained his undergraduate degree in philosophy from Notre Dame University in Cotabato City and his M.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Ateneo de Manila University. He pursued advanced theological studies at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, where he earned his Licentiate in Theology, Doctorate in Theology, and PhD in Theology. His research interests include contextual theology, the theology of religions, and interreligious dialogue, particularly in the Asian context. He has served as chair of Ateneo de Manila University’s Department of Theology and has been involved in theological research, teaching, and dialogue between faith and society.
